Spring fever in Seefeld
Colorful flower meadows, soothing rays of sunshine and mild temperatures – that’s spring on Tyrol’s alpine plateau. The crocuses are breaking through the snow, the lakes are slowly thawing and nature is awakening and sprouting everywhere. You should not miss it under any circumstances.
Spring hikes
around Seefeld
Observe nature during its magnificent spring awakening. This is best done on a relaxing hike.
The Wildsee circuit holds a unique natural spectacle, especially in spring. Buds on all branches, delicately blooming flower meadows and the first, shy rays of sun on the skin. Even the wild squirrels are already showing themselves on the trees. Breathe in the crystal clear mountain air and enjoy pure nature.
On the southern edge of the plateau in a very sunny location you will find the circular hiking trail in Reith. The meadows are full of young flowers and busy bees. Breathe in the fresh air and take in the unique views.
Enjoy the picturesque landscape in the Gaistal. Nature is sprouting, the sun is high and the hiking trails offer plenty of peace and relaxation. As long as the huts are still closed, nature invites you to a wonderful mountain picnic under the treetops.

Playgrounds & leisure centers
To make your vacation perfect for the whole family, the plateau also offers numerous playgrounds and recreational facilities in the middle of nature.
Next to the Mösern lake in the middle of the beautiful coniferous forest you will find the spacious adventure playground. Slides, climbing frames, sandbox with shovel excavator, swings and parkour structures are waiting to be discovered by the children. The Möserer Seestub’n is also available for refreshments, offering traditional recipes and the best ingredients.
The Wildsee lake is also a wonderful destination in spring. Right next to the lake restaurant is the large children’s playground with a climbing frame, seesaws, slides and tire swings. Parents can sit comfortably in the restaurant and watch the children run around. Enjoy the first sunshine rays of spring and relax all your senses while your children have their very own adventures.
The playground offers versatile opportunities for learning through play. The mining climbing tower, tube slide and mine with mining trolleys are just a few of the themed highlights. For refreshments, the nearby Rosshütte offers a cozy sun terrace and an unforgettable panoramic view.
Wood, water & rocks, combined into unique play opportunities. The playground offers children a balance park, a sandpit, a slide, swings as well as water areas and fountains and is lined with native wild plants. Adjacent to the playground is the Holzerhütte Museum. The museum features an exciting journey all about one of our most important raw materials: Wood.
How about a game of mini golf with the whole family? Or have you heard of the game PIT-PAT? It is a fun combination of billiards and mini golf. Don’t miss this fun activity!

Historical and cultural highlights
The museum houses the exhibition of writer Ludwig Albert Ganghofer, from whom the building also takes its name. In addition to this permanent exhibition, the museum also hosts exciting special exhibitions and interesting cultural events. Another highlight is the “living workshop” of passionate carver Hermann Klocker
“I ring for the good neighborliness and peace in the alpine countries.”The impressive Peace Bell stands on a small plateau on the outskirts of Mösern at an altitude of about 1,300 meters. The magnificent view into the valley alone is worth a visit to the Peace Bell. Here you will find a place to linger, relax and enjoy nature.
The most famous landmark of Seefeld is definitely the Heiligkreuzkirche. The picturesque votive church is one of the most popular photo motifs. The interior of the small church also offers fascinating impressions such as picturesque frescoes.
