The Sebensee is a beautiful high mountain lake and is framed on three sides by unique rock giants. The Sonnenspitze, the Drachenkopf and the front Tajakopf stand like patron saints around the lake and thus offer you an unforgettable panorama. How to reach this natural jewel? Get in the saddle. Via Leutasch you go up to the picturesque Gaistal and then on to the almost magical Sebensee.

The Brunschkopf is our gentle giant and invites you to a beautiful bike tour around it. This tour is also very family-friendly and offers an exciting, varied landscape full of meadows and forests to impressive mountains. As a stop you can visit the Wildmoosalm with its beautiful panoramic terrace.

From hut to hut or up to the summit
Experience unforgettable days and nights, far above the valley, close to the stars, in one of the rustic huts and alpine pastures of the region. As a reward for the admittedly sometimes arduous ascent, the innkeepers will spoil you with traditional delicacies and offer you a cozy camp for a traditional overnight hut sleepover.

© Region Seefeld Perhaps one of the most romantic overnight options in the middle of the mountains is the Wettersteinhütte. The so-called “Kuschlhittn” (cuddle cabin) for up to 35 people is particularly suitable for groups. The cabin owners know how to prepare genuine home-cooked meals and will feed you culinary specialties from Tyrolean cuisine.

You can enjoy cool refreshments and Tyrolean delicacies on the spacious sun terrace. If the weather isn’t playing along, you can simply move inside the wood-paneled restaurants. If you want to spend the night on the mountain pasture, you can use the traditional dormitory as a rustic, alpine sleeping place.
