Over 650 kilometers (400 miles) of the most diverse routes in various difficulty levels await you on and around the alpine plateau. There are even some tours and trails that are accessible for physically impaired people or small children. - Karwendelhaus (1,765 m)
The climb to the Karwendelhaus is worth it for the breathtaking view alone. The real reward, however, is the delicious home cooking, lovingly prepared by the innkeepers. Feel the atmosphere of the 100-year-old restaurant and feast your way through yeast dumplings, goulash soup and delicious, homemade specialty cakes. - Kastenalm (1,220 m)
A little further down the valley is the small, romantic Kastenalm. Experience the traditional inn atmosphere and enjoy “Brettl-Jausen” (charcuterie) and cakes based on old traditional recipes. - Gaistalalm (1,373 m)
The Gaistalalm offers culinary perfection in the midst of nature. The magnificent sun terrace will captivate you as you marvel at the unique view of the Hohe Munde. Thanks to the still functioning, genuine alpine farm, you will find special culinary delights here.
